The new moon in Aries is about new beginnings and fresh starts.  The energy is dynamic, adventurous, direct, courageous, independent, initiating, vital, and enterprising.  It enables us to look towards future possibilities and potential and to take action.  We can act for ourselves towards our personal goals and dreams as the new moon encourages us to be bold and daring.

This new moon has four planets in Aries with the Sun and Moon sitting between Chiron and Mercury.  Chiron so close to the new moon brings with it the potential for healing and recovery, for initiating new health and healing routines or to create a more shamanic path in life. On a collective level we can set intentions for healing and peace between warring factions and nations.  The dwarf planet Eris is also in Aries, as is the asteroid Pallas Athene, stirring the warrior spirit of this sign.

Neptune and Jupiter are close to their exact conjunction in Pisces which occurs in the early hours of 13 April in Australia.  This once in 166 year event brings us hope of an expansion and shift in consciousness towards peace, connection, sensitivity and compassion.  This tidal wave of energy helps us wash away anything old or stale and revitalise and renew ourselves and the collective. There is vast opportunity for spiritual activation and elevation of consciousness to a level we can’t really conceive of.  It is almost as though creation itself evolves.

The last event in 1856 saw massive floods in France, the worst floods in their history, and also the end of the Crimean War, giving us hope for peace in the Ukraine.

This moon invites us to awaken out inner spiritual warrior and to take peaceful and compassionate action in our lives and in the world.
